Grimcity's
roots are based in the ever so lucrative college comic strip
industry. Many of the comics you'll see here are from a
publication called "The Lion's Roar." The strips
themselves have been the subject of controversy for whatever
reason, making the strip one of the most popular features of the
rag. The other comics here are simply results of wasted time.
Actually, all of them are products of wasted time. And alcohol.
And bathtub crank. Many of these comics will make no sense
whatsoever. Don't take it personally, they just come out that
way for whatever reason. If you see a comic here that resembles
the humor used in another strip you may have seen, its because
the other people have straight-up ripped us the fuck off. Well,
that and the fact that the ancient Greeks have already written
down every plot and punch line that man has ever used. No
shit... every damned thing we watch on TV is based on something
that those toga wearing hippies (think Athens, not Sparta) wrote
and joked about lifetimes ago. I'm really curious as to what
they would have done to the Olsen twins or Fran Dresher (may
they turn to dust and be mixed into a frothy cocktail to later
be consumed by George W's drunk assed daughter). The comics will
be updated as regularly as your great grandmother's bladder,
look for newer ones towards the bottom. The initial comic upload
consisted of 40 strips... they're in no particular order, so you
might see a strip that was featured in a paper years ago, or you
might see a waste of space that was created four days ago. Feel
free to use any of these comics as you see fit, just give the
site credit. You want my booty, I give you comics instead.
